Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how CoachWrk handles personal information on the CoachWrk website, coach web app, and client app. CoachWrk is intended for adults who use the service for coaching work.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to create and protect an account, including a name, email address, optional phone number, authentication credentials, email-verification status, and two-factor-authentication settings where enabled.

Coaches and clients may provide workout and diet plans, logged workouts and meals, check-in answers, measurements, progress photos, coach notes, membership details, and other information they choose to enter. We may also receive waitlist details and messages sent to support.

We generate limited technical and security information needed to operate the service, such as session, request, error, and security-log information. We do not use non-essential advertising or analytics tracking.

How we use information

We use information to provide coaching workspaces and client experiences, authenticate accounts, send invitations and service messages, save and display plans and check-ins, process account-deletion requests, answer support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, restore service from backups, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and do not use information for targeted advertising. We use only the information reasonably needed for these purposes.

Health and fitness information

Body weight, measurements, logged meals and workouts, check-in answers, and progress photos are health and fitness information. We use it only to show a client their own plan and progress and to share it with their coach and that coach’s authorized team members. We never sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

CoachWrk is a coaching tool, not a medical service, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Client app permissions and notifications

The client app asks for camera access only to scan a coach’s QR code; those camera frames are not saved or uploaded. Progress photos are chosen through the phone’s own photo picker or camera, and only the photos a client adds are uploaded.

To send push notifications, the app registers the device with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and stores that device token, with the app language, against the signed-in account. The token is removed on sign-out or account deletion. Notification types can be switched off in the app’s Profile or in the phone’s settings.

Optional Google Sign-In

Google Sign-In is optional. If you choose it, CoachWrk receives basic profile information from Google, such as your name, email address, verification status, and Google account identifier, to create or authenticate your CoachWrk account.

CoachWrk does not receive your Google password, does not request unrelated Google content, and does not use Google account information for advertising or sale. Google handles its own processing under Google’s policies.

Coach and client data

A coach decides why client information is collected, which clients join a workspace, and which authorized coach or team members can access it. CoachWrk processes that workspace data to provide the service on the coach’s instructions.

Progress photos and check-in images are private coaching content shared with the assigned coach and authorized team members, not published publicly. Coaches must have the necessary permission or lawful basis before inviting clients or collecting their information, measurements, or photos.

Sharing and international processing

We share information only as needed to provide and protect CoachWrk: with the coach and authorized team members, with service providers that support hosting, email, authentication, storage, push notifications, security, and backups, or when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.

Service providers may process information outside Egypt. We use reasonable safeguards for those transfers and do not authorize providers to use CoachWrk information for their own advertising or sale.

Cookies and technical storage

CoachWrk uses essential cookies or similar storage for sign-in, session security, language or product preferences, and fraud prevention. We do not use non-essential analytics, advertising cookies, or marketing pixels.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and workspace information while it is needed to provide the service. A user can delete an account from the app or contact support@coachwrk.com. Active account data, plans, check-ins, measurements, photos, and account access are removed when deletion is completed.

Backups, security logs, support records, and other operational copies may remain for provider-defined operational, safety, or legal periods before they expire. A coach may retain payment records made outside CoachWrk, including the amount, date, and client name, as the coach’s own business records.

Your rights, security, and changes

You may contact support@coachwrk.com to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to ask a privacy question. We may verify your identity first. If the information is controlled by a coach, we may also direct the request to that coach.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. We will post a new effective date when this policy changes and will provide notice of material changes where practical.
